The event is going on for only 2 more days.. so you need to hurry over and snatch all the things for yourself.
I thought long and hard about the title to this post.
And for some reason the movie Malificent kept drifting through my mind.
The one line she says in the movie, I had wings... once, struck a cord with me.
When a loved one is diagnosed with cancer, they can feel like something is taken from them.
Sometimes its physically taken from them when they remove the tissue to try and remove the cancer from their body.
Other times it is metaphorically taken from them, such as their security, their peace of mind, etc.
And still other times, it can be that cancer has taken away something they enjoyed, activities or something when the chemo and/or treatments prevent them from doing what they once loved.
And there is no quick way to get any of that back.
So go, shop, donate. Let us all help try and find cures, prevention measures, whatever we can to help.
